Essential Oils - Everything Anxiety




We all suffer from anxiety in one way or another.  Some have found that certain things can relieve anxiety and stress. Dr. Lin in Women's Health says, "The quickest way to change one's mood is through smell, thus essential oil is an excellent way to reduce anxiety and support relaxation."  The site also goes on to say, "The thing is, though, even if one study shows that a particular scent is great for,

say, reducing anxious feelings, it may not work for every single person. If you don't enjoy a scent, you probably won't feel much better after sniffing it, for instance." 

I personally don't suffer from having bad anxiety. However, my daughter does, that is why she got into diffusing essential oils.  And since I've been using them I've noticed a big difference with what I use them for. 

The essential oils that help with anxiety are: Lavender, Bergamot, Orange, and Sweet marjoram. 

This is the diffuser I use:


Known blends my daughter or myself have used are: 

1) Anti-Anxiety - 3 drops Orange, 2 drops Bergamot, 2 drops Lavender

2) Anxiety Free - 4 drops Lavender, 2 drops Lemon, 2 drops Ylang Ylang

3) Calming The Storm - 4 drops Lavender, 3 drops Chamomile


4) Just Be Happy - 2 drops Frankincense, 2 drops Bergamot, 2 drops Orange


5) Uplift The Mood - 3 drops Bergamot, 2 drops Lavender, 2 drops Clary Sage, 1 drop Ylang Ylang


6) Harmonizing Blend - 3 drops Patchouli, 2 drops White Fir, 2 drops Lavender


7) Blissful Mood - 4 drops Orange, 2 drops Lavender, 1 drop Ylang Ylang


8) Lift Me Up - 4 drops Lavender, 2 drops Rosemary

    

9) Mood Makeover - 3 drops Frankincense, 2 drops Lavender, 2 drops Wild Orange

The ones with the *** don't have the number of drops to use, so remember to go by the number of drops your diffuser recommends and add them evenly up to the closest number that matches your diffuser.
